For the past month we've been monitoring a Tree Fern in our garden sprout new growths, aka fronds. Every third day or so, I would photograph their development. The small fronds, surrounded by last year's mature leaves, have been slowly unwinding into primitive looking forms. Take a look at how beautiful each phase of their growth was:

Spring is revealing many botanical treasures in our garden, and since we moved into our home in July, we're seeing them for the first time.
